Tennis and Body Fat Percentage

For years we've been conditioned that we should have a target weight based on our height and gender, but let's think about that concept. How many of you know a 'skinny Jane' who waves with her hand ... and then unintentionally waves a second time with the droopy skin of her upper arms?

Or how about your friend who is the same weight as she was in high school, but she has to buy clothes 1 or more sizes larger? If you wanted to think about it, you would think it would be a good idea to wear it and still wear the same size of clothes.

But then again, what about that guy at the tennis club who does not know what he is? His waist (or at least where he wears his pants) is the same size, but it is probably less than that. and how much is lean mass (mostly we are talking about muscle, but things like your bones and bodies are counted here too).

The problem with the right spot, it can be deceptive. What is your body fat percentage (BF%) - How much is fat and how much is lean mass? Your doctor's office may or may not take this measurement for you, but you should be able to find a good personal trainer in your area who is skilled at doing so.

I would like to make the measurement to make you feel that you are staying on track. If you want to lose fat, then you need to get fat. In this case, you can use the following method to measure your weight and size (preferably first thing in the morning, when food and water will not distort or value).

This gives you a way to get your body mass. Why the belly button? It is an area without a marker and it is easy to measure it. A pound of fat gained or lost. It takes about 12 pounds of muscle for the same thing to happen. So with the addition of a simple measuring tape, your scales are more likely to be used. You are losing weight and gaining muscle size.

If the scales are going down but your waist stays the same, you're more likely to lose muscle ... and that means you're technically getting fatter.

If the scales went up 12 pounds over You've just added 12 inches of muscle to this article. If you weigh and measure, then wait a few months and repeat the process, it's much harder if not impossible to know what happened. Anytime there has been significant time, have a BF% measurement done.

They can not do it without doing so, but they do not necessarily need to improve their health. It does not matter. A 6 'tall person and a 5' tall person can be both at 10% BF and both of them will be in a healthy weight range BF% is where it belongs. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Tennis is my favorite now!

Thanks to Roger Federer, I've been interested in playing tennis again. The last time I played tennis is 12 years ago! I was so young and stubborn back then. I did not really enjoy playing it. Tennis hurt my arms!

Now, I made it to my bad techniques and wrong choice of rackets. Now, I am much older and mature, I suddenly fell in love with tennis. The first to do is to find a racket that is suitable for a beginner like me. When Are You Most Fertile?

If you’re trying to get pregnant the first question you might be asking is when are you most fertile. Females have unique biological features which makes them fertile during certain periods and infertile in some others.

This means that there are certain times of the month that you cannot conceive even if you have sexual intercourse. The fertile duration varies depending on various reasons, some of which are natural while others are artificial. The fertile time of the month is also short, lasting about five days in a month.

Hence women who would like to successfully conceive need to clearly understand their fertile days so that they can attempt to get pregnant. Menstrual cyclesAmongst the time that women are highly fertile include when their eggs are mature and ready to be fertilized. This period usually occurs between twelve and sixteen days after the egg has been produced.

These days are countable by understanding the menstrual rhythm and sequence of the woman’s cycle. In normal situations, the menstrual cycle takes an average of twenty eight days. This period is characterized by the body producing an egg and then shedding it away in the form of a menstrual period after twenty eight days (if it is not fertilized).After the egg is produced, it takes about seven days to mature and achieve the status into which it can be fertilized. Thus the first seven days of the menstrual cycle are the most infertile in a woman. After the seven days, the egg matures even more, and by the twelfth to sixteenth days it becomes fully developed and all the conditions for fertilization become conducive.

However if it gets to about the sixteenth day without the egg being fertilized, then the fertilization conditions start deteriorating, thus making fertilization hard. By the twenty eighth day the egg is shed and a new egg starts to form, thus creating another cycle. So basically the most fertile period is approximately between days twelve and sixteen during the menstrual cycle. It is important to engage in intercourse regularly during this time to ensure the best chance of conceiving. Women are also deemed to be fertile when the body temperatures rises drastically.

The temperature changes are an indication that ovulation is imminent and hence the woman can conceive if they engage in intercourse. These temperature rises are triggered by the production of the luteinizing hormone which maintains the high temperatures unless embryo implant occurs. So as to determine the fertile days, the woman should take her temperatures every morning at the same time.

There are many fertility monitors on the market that can help you take your temperature and establish when exactly you are ovulating and answer the question when are you most fertile. A woman is also very fertile when the cervical mucus is abundant, clear and stretchy. The mucus is usually dry and creamy during the other days of the menstrual cycle. But upon approaching the middle of the cycle, the mucus increases and changes color to become a clear substance.

The mucus is usually produced in abundance when the egg is ready to be fertilized, hence ensuring that the sperm from the man will be in conducive environment so that they can last for some time to ensure that the egg is fertilized. Probably the easiest method to establish when you are most fertile is to invest in a fertility monitor (these can be found at Amazon.com). Some of these use saliva based testing, vaginal sensors, and can monitor your temperature and even detect the LH surge which predicts when you will ovulate.

So, my wife and I are planning to have a family. After looking for some guides and read books about pregnancy, I find out that being pregnant is not that easy as it seems. That's why my wife and I created some guides for the community. Hope it help couples that planning to have their own family.

If you’ve been trying for a few months but haven’t yet conceived you’re probably wondering what’s the best way to get pregnant fast. You don’t need to worry just yet, it can (and does) often take at least 6-12 months to get pregnant. Because the optimum time for conceiving is only a few days each month, you actually only have a very small window of opportunity each cycle. You only have a 15-20% chance of getting pregnant at this time each month, and this percentage is actually lower if you’re over 35 years of age.

There are some things that you can do though to optimize your chances of getting pregnant faster. Check out the following tips:Have sex at least 3 times a week. Regular sex is the best way to get pregnant quickly. Just because you think you should be ovulating at a particular time each month doesn’t meant that you are – even if you have a textbook 28 day cycle you may not ovulate exactly in the middle of your cycle (you can’t just assume you will ovulate on day 14).

By having sex 3 times a week or more, you are covering your bases and will be less likely to miss out on your ovulation time. Use a fertility monitor or ovulation kitThere are interactive ovulation calculators online that can help you predict your date of ovulation based on the first day of your last period and the length of your average cycle. These might work for some people, but in reality most women ovulate either before or after the ‘predicted’ date.

The easiest way to work out exactly when you are ovulating is to use a fertility monitor or ovulation kit. Monitors and kits like this are designed to read LH surges prior to ovulation and are generally accurate at predicting ovulation dates and making it clear when is the best time to get pregnant.Have sex before rather than after ovulationAfter ovulation, the egg will survive approximately 24 hours. However after intercourse, sperm can last up to 3-5 days.

That means by having sex prior to ovulation you are increasing your chances of getting pregnant because your partner’s sperm will survive longer than your egg.It is always a good idea for both you and your partner to get checked out before your start trying for a baby.

Untreated infections, undiagnosed problems or general poor health can greatly affect your chances of getting pregnant quickly. Many women also start taking prenatal vitamins before trying to conceive. Avoid smoking, alcohol and drugs (common sense I know), but there are women who try to get pregnant while indulging in one or more of the above.

Alcohol, drugs and smoking can all affect your fertility, but not only that they can affect your unborn child. Do not wait until you are pregnant to stop – it is important to stop before trying to get pregnant.Some sex positions are better than others.

There are no major studies to back up the theory that certain positions are more conducive to conceiving than others. However common sense tells us that sex positions that allow for deep penetration should help when trying to get pregnant. The missionary position and doggy style are two positions favoured by those looking for the best way to get pregnant.
